    A I do not know where this was made. I purchased it because of the brand name Drive that is associated with many products like my wheelchairs that are made for us handicapped and provide reliable products. I suspect if you contact them directly they will answer you honestly. I have not had any difficulty with their products and I have many in my home now and rely on a daily basis on each of them.
