    A It’s accurate for the most part and the inaccuracy usually occurs when I’ve just turned it on. If I see it’s wildly off, it gives a correct reading after I’ve changed fingers.

    A Hello! Thank you for your question. There are a few factors that can effect an oximeter's ability to acquire a reading. The most common factor is circulation and finger temperature. Cold hands/fingers are often the culprit in these situations. If the fingers are cold to the touch, we recommend rubbing the hands together or running them under warm water and then drying.     A I’ve never had a problem with a clear coat.But-The more layers of polish you have on you nails is moving the sensor farther and farther away from the area the unit is trying to read.

    A This device is not designed to be worn while working out. However, if you pause your workout, and put the device on your finger, it will work as designed. This whole process would take less than 2 minutes.

    A It doesn't alarm if you're low it just tells you your numbers. You have to actually read it. Also would not stay on your finger if you moved.

    A I think it might be a little to big for infants, I bought it for my mother and she had tiny fingers and we had a hard time getting a reading , worked great on my fingers though

    A You can do a Google search to find various charts. Both measures depend on your age and the condition of your health. Here is a link for heart rates: http://www.md-health.com/Pulse-Rate-Chart.html According to another website that manufacturers pulse-ox meters, An SpO2 of greater than 95% is generally considered to be normal.An SpO2 of 92% or less (at sea level) suggests hypoxemia.

    A Needs to be above 90. The higher the better. If it's lower than 89...seek medical help
  31. Q Which number is the pulse? Top or bottom?
    A The number NEXT to the moving bars is the Oxygen Saturation result, AND the bars should be moving UP, towards the ceiling when you are reading the results. The maximum reading for oxygen saturation is 99%. Pulse rate can display 3 digits so it can be higher than 99.
  32. Q how to replace battery
    A Remove back cover. Make sure the new batteries are facing the OPPOSITE direction from each other. Follow the guide inside the battery tray which shows how the (positive +) and (negative -) ends should be matched.
